I know what it is like to want to have a positive impact and to bring real change. For 25 years, I have been exploring what it truly means to live, work and lead with purpose.
Testing the usual paths - career changes, sabbaticals, starting businesses, working at the highest levels of system change.
I have trained changemakers and intrapreneurs inside global multinationals and humanitarian organisations, collaborated on the future of the economy. And created the sustainable leadership track for one of the largest SDG scale up incubators for social entrepreneurs in partnership with UNDP.
Here is what I have learned: Purpose at this time of transition is not a destination. It is the one of a kind journey of building a new future by being truly, uniquely and fully yourself.
That is great in theory but not easy in practice. Too often we end up instead caught up in patterns of burn out, self-doubt and disillusionment.
That is because we are trained to be good soldiers of the old status quo. And not the brave builders of the future we actually want to see.
That is why I created The Purpose-Led Adventure. A movement, a mindset and a roadmap for those who want to go beyond business as usual - and take their place, play their part and shape what comes next at this pivotal time.
