Most people at this point try and find the solution 'out there' - that magic pill that is going to make it alright.  But that is not how it works.

You have to start with yourself - or more importantly with reconnecting with yourself and what is important to you now.  

The truth is: Yes the world has answers - but not your answers.  And when your world is turning upside down, the only way forward is... inward.  Tuning into the part of you that does know the way.

Because the secret of pivotal moments is this - personally or collectively, it is showing you where you are not aligned to your own truth.

 

That means turning inwards and listening to what you know is true for you now.  Because when it is all falling apart - what you are being called back to is the only real compass you have - which is your inner one.  And if you don’t turn towards it, you risk getting swept away in the storm.

*The answers you seek need to be forged within you.  

*The guide you want to trust is your inner knowing.

*The lifeline you are looking for is your own inner wisdom.

If the answers we are looking for are inside of us - then the real issue is that we hardly take the time out to listen in for them.

That is where personal and collective pivotal moments come in.    They are here to stop us in our tracks.  

They snap us out of our everyday auto-pilot.  So that we dig deeper inside ourselves for our own answers - what really drives us, what our purpose is now and what we want to create next.  And how it serves the greater purpose of well-being on this planet.

So let me ask you... when was the last time you visited yourself?  
 
Actually pressed the pause button and took a deep breath?  Turned inwards and checked in on what you really wanted? Listened to the wisdom - not of your busy mind, but of your very own heart?

TAKE TIME FOR RETREAT

 

Generally, my personal pivotal moments came when I wasn't listening inside - and found myself in a version of life that looked good on the outside, but didn't feel right on the inside.  Or that I had got to the end of a chapter I had inadvertently outgrown.  

And more specifically, at this pivotal time on the planet, I was called to again dig deep.  This time to find what was mine to do now - at this chaotic time of evolution.

What got me through was to switch on my inner compass. To stop only running.  To make the time to press the pause button.  To create the space - to regroup, to reflect, to reorient within myself.  

That was the radical quiet move. 

 

So what did I do practically?

I took myself on my own retreats - that I created for myself in a combination of two ways:

*I set aside blocks of retreat time for a deeper reset - that I put together for myself.  And I would completely immerse in visualisations, journalling and generally following my own flow.

*I created a daily retreat practice to tune into my inner compass everyday.  So that I could get and stay aligned - no matter what was happening in my outside world. 

In essence, what I did is that I stopped trying to counter every wave - and instead... I created the space... To turn inward... To hear what my own knowing was saying.  So that I could:

*Return to my own truth.

*Realign with my inner compass.

*And reorient in my true direction.

And ultimately meet this moment - not from Fear, but from Flow.

Let's face it, we are all full of good intentions. Knowing we need to slow down, turn inwards, and listen in, is one thing.  But actually doing it is another.  It's not easy, right?

What I hear over and over is that the reality is - most of us find that incredibly hard to do.  And even when we make time, we are not sure where to start, let alone how to keep it going.
